I think it is a little like 3 however it will only change one party, the B&M companies. Because, unless they rethink their business strategy, they will die out like the dinosaurs.
In all fairness it's not like eCommerce came out of the blue. We have had 20 years to get used to it, embrace it and adapt. Any B&M who has had their head in the sand this long deserves to perish.
The best opportunity I see is someone going round all these B&M businesses’ and selling them the book Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson.
