Hmmm.. yeah what is this for exactly?

By your question, it sounds like you might be in over your head..

Hey everyone,
I am in the process of database creation. Are there any SQL experts on the forum?
Looking for some input.
Thanks in advance,
Alaina

First thing, if you don't know what you're doing and you want to create a database, you probably want to start with an ORM for your language of choice... as long as it's not too complicated, e.g. I like SQLAlchemy, but a beginner would be better off starting with Django or Peewee.

I've worked with Microsoft SQL Server for ~20 years (good lord, has it been that long?...). What exactly do you need to do?

SQL is fundamentally different from most other programming languages. And, there may be database-like tools that might let you do what you need--without needing to learn SQL per se. Like Excel and Access--and parallel tools like Google sheets and Zoho--Tableau, etc.
