Do you guys think that the US dollar is going to collapse? Just not sure what to invest in anymore with so much uncertainty. Losing an Unscripted life due to bad politicians and fiscal policy in the US is really gonna suck.

Unless you own no assets and sitting on enormous piles of fiat cash as a personal net worth. Not that anyone that I know of.

Most people overestimate their cash/asset ratio. “I have in the bank account that is going to lose all their value!!...”, forgetting that they are paying mortgage for a house that is worth 350k.

Your cash is not going to lose their value anytime too soon. Brand-less consumer products have their prices for the past years fairly stable despite QE being nothing new. We have a global overcapacity issue. The T-shirts made in Asia and eggs/meat from big agri-business can just fulfill our buy order anytime we want. The machines are idle and desperate for orders.

The grand narrative of cash losing value is more of a fear of losing out in investment. That is valid concern. But rushing in into a bad investment at a peak of a market cycle could be much worst than losing over inflation.
