Hey Fastlane Fam!!
I am from the beloved Philippines <3 Please take a moment to read a short summary of me.

As a student, I was never on the bottom yet never at the top. I did very minimal studying yet always had a place among the 'best in class'. I was never satisfied with simply memorizing terms and getting the highest possible scores. That is why I always did above average just to satisfy my parents and teachers. Despite this, I was always hailed as the 'leader'. From sports, activity planning, and even from my group of friends. I was always the one carving the path while others followed, always the one they looked to when a decision had to be made, the one with the most regarded opinion. In terms of awards, I got just enough in for the academic portion yet I would always be the one with the most awards in terms of things such as leadership, character, service, and others that don't rely heavily on academics. This is why as an incoming university freshman, I don't feel completely happy knowing that when I graduate, I have to look for a job and hopefully stay employed. Saving just enough for the occasional escapes, while essentially giving my life away to someone else.

I am light years away from you all in terms of experience and seniority. I have recently turned 18 and have been looking for ways to get started in online business (because pandemic) while I am about to study Engineering in University. I want to get started in the fast lane process. My father is the sole breadwinner of the family and being an employee, he could be at risk for lay offs (he just recently got pay cuts). Yet he and my mother are pushing me and my siblings to finish a degree, and hopefully get a good job. But this is not how I see myself living. They both work and worked in the aviation industry so they had their fair share of travels, but seeing them struggle just to save up for us really breaks my heart. I plan to live a life where we can live on our own terms.

I have read a handful of personal development and financial management books like The Millionaire Fastlane , Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think and Grow Rich, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. But I know reading is only one part of the process, I NEED TO TAKE ACTION. This is why I hope you guys can guide me as I will be looking on how to get started with online entrepreneurship in the Philippines. Thank you for reading and I hope we can build good relations from here on out :)
