Hello everyone,
I read The Millionaire Fastlane last year, and I must say that it is the one book that the totally shattered my worldview concerning money and entrepreneurship.
Naturally, my favorite quote from the book is "In a gold rush, do no dig for gold...sell shovels!".
I'm from Nigeria and I held a job that was paying me about $100 per month. It was during this period that I read the Millionaire Fastlane . Of course, you cannot expect to go through such book and remain dormant and satisfied with the status quo. So, I did the next rational thing - I quit my job and went on to start a business.
Not surprisingly, the first business I embarked on tanked seriously, but I continued to forge aheaf. My tenacity and God's direction led me to fiverr.com where I earned my first dollar off the internet. In the country where I used to earn $100 a month, I started earning a minimum of $100 a week!
Unfortunately, freelance writing breaks the "Scale" commandment since I could only work so many hours a week.
I was not comfortable with the status quo and right now, I am in the United States - the land of opportunities!
My ultimate goal in life is to be a Christian speaker, author, and coach.
Unfortunately, I am suffering from information overload right now and it is tending to paralyze me from attaining my goals.
I have come to join this forum to help me with the much-needed focus necessary to attain my goals
