A friend of mine just posted this on Facebook

If you are in Arizona, please call Governor Ducey and let him know that you support HB 2014, a bill to end state tax on gold and silver. Tax is an obstacle to use of metallic money.

The bill is expected to pass the Senate on Thursday (it already passed out of the House) and then head to the Governor for signature.

Please call his office as soon as possible!

His office number is: 602.542.4331
His email is: engage@az.gov

I know AZ is generally a Red State, but do they control the senate? (Can't remember and I didn't find it anywhere). If so, it should pass.

This bill has passed. It eliminated capital gains taxes on gold and silver bullion.

So, if AZ does not tax me, the Federal government still might.

An interesting thing I learned recently is that Gold or Silver American Eagles, and certain other coins, are not reportable. Exempt.
