I'd be careful. The US in the middle of a trade war which is likely only about to get worse.

Free registration at the forum removes this block.A few hours ago I posted that I was concerned that I would have to rely on another company. There is only one company (as far as I know) that sells gum base in the United States and I don’t want to rely on them because that violates the Commandment of CONTROL. I can get the same ingredients 1000 times cheaper. It probably doesn’t sound that exciting but I am so excited right now. Importing goods seams like a great idea to my partner & I.
If you travel outside the US, you will realize that the made in US only really holds weight to Americans. You’re still technically violating CONTROL. Just in China...
I still stand by my post in your other thread.
I also think Made In USA will start to carry some more weight going forward. Something to keep in mind.
I live in Italy and 70% of the stuff our construction company buys is made in Germany, we just gave up on everything else paying 3x/4x the price is JUSTIFIED when those things last 10x longer and are more practical to use.Just make sure that price cutbdoesn't come at a cost of quality. If it is, you aren't really gaining.

Made in US doesn't really hold weight internationally. What does though...Made in Italy, Japan, and Germany.
That’s what I mean. For Americans since I live in America. But yeah, I think in general nationalism will rise globally.Just make sure that price cutbdoesn't come at a cost of quality. If it is, you aren't really gaining.

As an expert on safe product sourcing (see my AMA GOLD! Sharing my lifetime experience in export/import.
