    Hi there,

I found the fastlane forum thanks to my new business coach whom highly recommended me join and see if, "I just can´t seem to get there..." can be changed into "Hell yeah, I did it."

I have a business together with my mom, a website in Spanish, aimed to give Muay Thai fighters advice to improve their results in the ring. We have been working almost 3 years now and haven´t been able to turn this into us being able to live financially free.

We have done a lot over the years, went to courses, bought online courses, read lots of books, last book, I finished it last week, was "Launch" from Jeff Walker and now also help from a business coach. The energy is there, I am still fired up, we are building a nice community, 14000+ followers on Facebook, 1000+ in our email database, but the conversion stays behind.

At the moment we are working on a new product that will be launched at the beginning of july. At the same time this will also be the moment that I won´t be working a 9 to 5 job anymore, but I am going to work full time on our business. I am excited and a bit nervous at the same time.

I hope the threads on this forum will give me some deeper inside towards other steps I can take to make my business a huge success and most important have a big impact on the muay thai community. Seeing people start training muay thai and then watch their confidence, their energy level and their happines increase is just awesome.

Any advice or questions you already might have for me, feel free to write them down. Thank you and have a great day.

I didn't know the spanish people were into that sort of sports.

How many fighters are there in Spain?

Why should they trust you and your ebook (do you have the credentials) ?

Try selling through storytelling - who's used your book to kick ass?

Who is your target market? I hear that part of the world has 50% unemployment rate among the youths/young adults. Do they have the money to spend on that?

P.s Welcome to the forum :)

How many spanish speaking competitive muay thai fighters are there?

What's your price point for this advice?

Do you have any competitors doing the same thing?

What are your credentials(Why should someone pay for your advice instead of just asking their trainer?)

Not familiar with the market, but it sounds terribly small. If the market is too small, you can't make an impact worthy of impacting your own life.

Thanks for the welcome, I wasn´t expecting to get "bombarded" with questions already first post out. Loving it. thanks.
The spanish are definitely into the sport. There are even several of them fighting in prestigious stadiums such as Lumpini and Raya.
We focus on the whole Spanish speaking market and exact numbers is difficult to pin point. Serious ones I would say a couple of thousand. With the non serious ones added most likely double that number.
I work together with everyone and I mean literally everyone. In Spain I have contact with all the profesional fighters and over time have build up a great network. The response has been really great so far. I got testimonials from the best known spanish fighters, which is really cool.
So yeah, there is that, the unemployment rate in Spain and I guess most spanish speaking markets is very high. Of course fighters are young and amateur fighters don´t get paid, profesional fighters here don´t make enough. However it´s amazing how much a spanish youth still goes out and drinks, so there must be money some where.
Looking forward to more of your questions!

    Great questions, thanks.
There are several thousand spanish speaking fighters.
We have a membership site for the physical preparation, which costs 37 euros a month.
Working on building something similar for all the techniques.
Then we have several different ebooks which very in price, starting at 7 euros.
I am working on a new product now, however I haven´t decided yet which price it´s going to have, have some doubts that I need to work on.

Why Muay Thai Pro? Simple, not everyone has a trainer close by, especialy a good one and even if they have a trainer, he can´t focus his time on 1 person 24/7, our programs can, they are online. Plus I work with the best in the market. For the physical program I got a fighter, whom studied for this and we build the program together with him. In regards to the technique I work together with my trainer, he lived 10+ years in Thailand and has been training for over 25 years.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Wow, MJ DeMarco, thanks for your response.
It is a smaller sized market, however I am certain it is possible. What´s that based on you might ask?
I look up to Muay Thai Guy, Sean Fagan, similar business as we have, however he has been at it twice as long as we have and his work is in English, he is living the dream. He makes 8k - 10k when he launches a new product and is now focussing full time on this.
If he can, I should be able to do this as well.

All these questions get me even more fired up to keep grinding and get it done.

Seems to me like you might be targeting the wrong audience. The professional guys surely have a trainer. You cant possibly be pro without a trainer, right?

And based on that assumption you should be targeting the amateurs who have professional aspirations. The ones who would like a trainer, but since they aren't getting paid, they cant afford one or cant afford to get access to one.

I would also be looking to branch out. Muay Thai is a pretty tight niche. Presumably the teaching could be modified or adapted to other disciplines?

    First welcome

In many of your post you mention that your site is in Spanish and for Spanish fighters. How hard would it be to open that up to English speaking customers as well. Maybe have a bilingual landing page to direct people to Spanish or English and that would open up your customer base more.

At first glance I would change .info to .com.

And second, it looks a little too commercial for me. No one wants to learn Muay Thai from a book, make it more appealing by displaying training videos or your prices on the front page.

Thanks for your reply, I must have explained it wrong, that is exactly the target market we have.
It might be easy enough to expand to K1 for example as well, which has a broader audience and fighters are better paid as well. Something to look into.
