I saved this article to my Evernote notebook several months ago when it was on Quora, and happened across it a few days ago when I was writing my Manufacturing a FTE (F*ck This Event!) post.
The Single Insight that Most Powerfully Impacted My Life
It's a good reminder to me that, while I may currently say "F*ck This" to my job, my lack of money (value vouchers), and the battle-scarred 1999 Corolla I drive, I am still above ground. I am still breathing, I still have my health, and my family is on my side. I have much to be grateful for, even if it's not everything I want in the future.
It may sound like foo-foo crap, but I have literally never been better. I am working towards a goal, I have my business' first trial client and I'm busting my butt to provide value to them. I have a plan, and I'm working the plan.
I think somewhere in the middle of "F*ck This" and "I have never been better" is a way forward to a better future.
