Not familiar with the hosts but they came off (to me) like crass immature children.

Tim is a pretty easy going guy from what I can tell but it really came off like a bunch of highschoolers invading his house for shits and giggles.

Surest way to get laid in this country is to bring lots of cash with you and don't forget to drive a nice vehicle. Gold diggers are easy prey. If your broke just stay home. There I just saved you a ton of research.

I don't wanna hijack the thread but you made a very interesting comment.

Women are less visually stimulated than guys because a lot of the qualities that females find attractive are arcane, abstract and internal(I.E. personality, self esteem, confidence, charm).

There is a huge stereotype in our society where males are the only ones that watch pornography. Which is mostly true but only because females find OTHER things sexy. But what most people don't know is that books and movies that describe confident males and male singers that sing are all forms of pornography for females believe it or not. Its a billion dollar industry.

The evidence is there if you just look for it.

For example, whats on the cover of your woman's magazine? A hot female. Whats on the cover of your men's magazine? A hot female as well. Not a guy. Not a guy in sight. no nothing. You can't take a picture of confidence and personality and self esteem.

This is a really awesome thread and I'm glad I come across these threads every once in a while.

I really like what JAJT said about Simple Pickup being immature. I definitely agree.

However as mentioned, they're definitely fastlaners. They own a monthly subscription service where people pay $5 to $30 to view private videos of them picking up girls on camera. The videos are weekly, I was subscribed to the service for a while but it's not my thing. Their services only seem geared towards the most social awkward people you can think of. But they've built a huge following. Almost 700,000 youtube subscribers right now, so that's scale! And magnitude I guess, because all their fans seem like losers who need the advice

They're somewhat of an inspiration to me though, because I want to build a brand and YouTube channel that's 10x better than they are. As JAJK said, they're really immature and when I watch SimplePickup I think of so many ways I can do better than them. More professional and entertaining. And if my channel has dating advice, I'll actually get my girl friends to give their input in video, instead of film 100 videos of me by myself in front of a camera, haha


Sorry I kind of hijacked the thread. Now I want to give my input on Tim Ferris. Basically I think he's a new Rich Dad, Poor Dad, bs 'self help' that isn't concrete like MJ, but just fluff. All the negative Amazon reviews confirm what I suspect, that he's writing material geared towards average people to make them feel good, so they can feel smart and then never do anything to improve themselves.

Basically I've been hearing about Tim Ferris everywhere....and I mean everywhere. Right off the bat that's a red flag. One of my favorite things I learned from Millionaire Fastlane was that if everybody and their mom's doing something, I should probably head in the opposite direction. MJ mentioned this with stocks, buying houses etc, I hope you guys know what I mean. Haha I think that was somewhere near the end of the book.

Anyway I wanted to give a highschooler's opinion on all this stuff

- I think Tim Ferris' advice is total malarky
- He seems cool, definitely a Fastlaner, but I wouldn't personally buy his products
- SimplePickup (asian guys in the video) inspire thousands but I can do what they do 10 times better
