From New Zealands Groupon equivalent:

Step 1: Scrape funds together to buy a Porsche Boxter 2.7 (Mortgage, Credit, Friends, Family)

Step 2: Put a deal on a daily deal site to offer hiring it out for a day for $99

Step 3: Sell 317 at $99 each

Step 4: Repay Mortgage, Credit, Friends or Family

Step 5: Fulfill the 317 orders then enjoy your car :groove:

(Obviously overlooking factors like insurance, maintenance, damage etc that would need to be accounted for)

Just saw the deal and had a laugh the guy sold more than the value of the car in that 1 day. Not Fastlane or anything but had to share :smx6:

Personally I would prefer 80 x $399 so I can enjoy the car sooner and you deal with less people and more quality people.

My Boxster S is already paid for, that would be pure profit for me. So anybody coming to San Diego for vacation or business, you can drive my car for the amazing price of $399 per day or 4 easy payment of $99. If you call now, I will throw in the radar detector! A $17 per day value!

I think if you do the math that guy will end up losing money on that deal...

oh and minus the groupon take of 50%

so ya, bad math does not equal a good deal.

but points for being creative. I wonder what else you could fabricate for value....
