How long did it take you to bench press 225?

Proper barbell strength training does wonders tho.

You have no idea how many "strong little guys " I've physically thrown out of clubs over the years. You know the type. the kind that spend hours on a treadmill and can do 200 pushups. Let me tell you my friends "MASS kicks a$$" . I couldn't imagine being under 225 ever again. IT must be such a different world being afraid of getting mugged or robbed or worse

Unless, of course, that strong little guy is a student of aikido, jujitsu, or karate, in which case it becomes (your) MASS kicks (your) a$$.

As for me, I'm still working my way there. I deadlift, squat, pullus, and chest dips.

Man, you write a thread about Benching and you get 7 pages, I wonder if anyone would even
respond to a thread about squatting haha.

But it took me about 6-7 months to reach 2 plates.

Also, whoever posted that they SQUAT 1000lbs, is a F*cking liar lol...

it could be just a simple error of unit conversion too
... but 1000 kg is 2200 lbs. Definitely not a conversion error. that dude was just lying

About 1 year junior to senior year in high school, got up to 255 body weight 170 lbs.

Now, exactly 10 years later and on and off at the gym I can probably get 200-220 lbs, did 205 about 2 years ago, getting back into it recently so I think I'll pass 225 again soon.
