After reading a couple of sales threads by Andy Black here, i decided to start cold-calling / emailing people and businesses who i thought i could help. This was about 2 hours ago- i dm'd 3 people people on instagram whose business accounts were quite poor. I approached these people with the intent of managing their social media accounts, created a website and an email. One of them replied back, and i had a good conversation with him but ngl i was very nervous as he was the first person i have ever cold-called/dm'd. Everything was solid, but i didn't know what prices to charge.

That's because I haven't really done this before; just basic copy knowledge , email marketing and web design knowledge i thought should make use of. Considering he was my first potential customer i set out my prices, but mentioned its upto the budget. Should i give a one week trial? Gave hour based prices- quite low actually- around 2USD/hour.

I am a new and i dont know how to set my prices.

Just to clarify, your service is managing social media accounts?

Or is it managing social media accounts, building websites for said business, and linking their website with an email address?

Are you targeting 1 specific industry?

Once you figure this out it should be easy to figure out pricing.
