Just a few days in this forum, and I am already getting a lot of useful advice from every single post that I read. Andy Black has been extremely helpful, and in following his advice, I am making this post.
So I am pretty good at sales and negotiations, marketing(face to face), closing deals, generating leads, creating sales opportunities, coming up with different approaches to market a product etc. I have worked in the given field for a few years, but I feel my experience there shouldn't be wasted. I am not saying I am an expert, I'm just saying I have enough experience in the field, and If I can help anyone in this forum, in any way I can..I'd be more than happy to help. If you'd like to get in touch with me, just comment on the post, and let me know how I can help you. Thank you.

I guess you posted this thread in response to @Andy Black's post in your other thread.

I'm not sure if Andy agrees, but IMO posting this thread is not a good way to follow his advice.

As it is now, you still make it about you. You talk about yourself and tell people to come to you. It doesn't work this way. It's not about telling the world to come to you. It's about you going out in the world to help it.

Find threads where people are asking for advice in the areas you have experience in. Respond to existing posts.

Or start new threads but don't make them about a general "here's what I know, ask away" but instead share specific knowledge. For example, what types of approaches people can take to market a product? What is in your opinion the best way to generate leads? How can a newbie learn the fundamentals of sales and negotiations that will help them grow their startup?

I didn't think of it that way, I guess I took his advice in the wrong way. Come to think of it, it does seem like I am bragging a bit, thank you for clearing up my misconception,

You doing well because you don’t take advice as a personal attack, and you’re taking action immediately you learn something.

It means you’ll learn and grow rapidly.

Did you listen to all of “Who have you helped?” ... can you reply to that thread and drop your takeaways and what you’ll do different?

Here’s how I “use” forums and Facebook groups:

Also, there is a high chance that someone (like me) wouldnt know what to ask you anyway.

Lets say that I want to generate leads for my business through linkedin (I do, but thats another topic).
Well outside of: How do I generate leads from linkedin?
I wouldnt know what else to ask.
The question itself is incomplete and comes with a whole bag of other questions.

I rarely use Facebook, or twitter or instagram. I used to think it’s just a massive waste of time, until I realised they could be used to start virtually any business. The thread you posted provided a lot of insights. Now I just need to find someone who needs help, and go out of my way to help him(for free ofcourse :p) They key is to provide as much value as you can.

I COULD actually help you, provided I get the necessary details. But as you said, that’s another topic. You’re right, the post seems amateurish, and if anything..rather than posting, and waiting for someone to show up, I should be actively looking for someone who needs help.

Good for you. You're moving fast.

Just browse the forum. Find threads that interest you. Say thanks if you learn something from a post. Add suggestions/advice if you see someone struggling.

Make friends. Build relationships. Help people. Things will start happening.

This might help too:

Exactly. That’s often weird and awkward.
