Have we seen you on TV? What happened that you don't play "professionally" anymore? Playing pro poker seems like it would be fun, at least if you have a few winners here and there.Poker is the big one...played professionally for a couple years and now just a hobby...
Been on TV a couple times. The big one was the second event of the 2005 World Series of Poker. I took second to Eric Froelich (the big 21-year-old kid with the basketball jersey), and made $240K. To my embarrassment, it's still replayed in ESPN and ESPN2 a bit too often. As my friends would tell it, I was the "annoying guy who kept staring at his opponents." :smxE:Have we seen you on TV? It reruns every month or two on ESPN2 and ESPN Classic. I'll let you know next time I hear that there's a rerun coming up...
Being a beginner I wouldn't start off betting just yet. Although that would be sufficient motivation to accelerate ones learning curve.Want a game of chess? I'll bet you $100 a game that I win . Just kidding. I play at FICS though.
I'm really into drag racing also. I did the same thing....just to expensive to pursue at the moment. My Hobby? Drag Racing. I absolutely love it. Made my self give it up for now though. Definitely a big part of my cash flow problems. So I parked it. It's sitting out there in the trailer......ready to go. It is now the carrot dangling in front of my nose. Because I have promised myself that I won't sit in it again until I am WELLLLLL on my way to financial freedom. GMJ
