What is the meaning you guys have derived from this book? Everyone I ask has a different thing they seem to get out of it. I personally am just not starting to read it but I would love to hear what you guys think.

Adventure and doing stuff that seems impossible with the naked eye.

I think this is the book that motivated Elon Musk to become the titan he is now.

You can always tell yourself a million reasons why you shouldn't do something. Sometimes you just need to do it and see where it will take you and what you can learn

Don't take yourself too seriously. Life is a game.

This! And extrodinary events can happen at any moment, especially when unexpected.

I remember the first time I read it was in 7th grade and it was the whole series in one hardback, shit was like 850 pages long. Other kids thought i was insane bursting out into uncontrollable laughter reading what looks like a dictionary. Douglas Adams has a sense of humor very similar to mine, phenomenal books.

You all know where your towel is?

Set the imagination free and see where it takes you.

For instance a depressed, paranoid robot that writes lullabies -

Now the world has gone to bed
Darkness won't engulf my head
I can see by infra-red
How I hate the night
Now I lay me down to sleep
Try to count electric sheep
Sweet dream wishes you can keep
How I hate the night

And training your mind to absorb several impossible concepts at once.
