My first thought was the same. But couldn't that be the joke it?
Instead of onlyfans it's onlywidgets. If done right I think it could work. But only if your age group know what onlyfans is.

I also like digiwidgets, the customer know what they are buying as its like HTML template but for different language.
so I guess digi feel redundant, I don't know, but love it.

buyWidgets is awesome, will buy this one. users can sell also so it can be a great secondary domain.

I typed a few into Namecheap.

All of the follpwing seem to be available as widget<word>.com

attic, matters, worm, champ, jar, jug, cupboard, larder, key, lair, kingdom, xyz, fork, spoon, army, school

There’ll be loads more.

Pick something (that isn’t in use by someone else) and move onto the next task?

those domains ware just to start thinking.

You could also shorten it even more and get widgetum.com
although i've seen "ium" being used by few projects so it might
be easier to understand by people.


EDIT: the thing about catchy domain is that its very rarely or almost never domain meaning
exactly what it sells. For fast example Amazon.com isn't selling rivers so domain like WidgetRoyale
doesn't need to be about widgets fighting till one last is standing.

@Simon Angel your post was like a kick in my face.

I assure you I did not waste these 3 days in the name, I built a wooCommerce store in the backend and fixed brand color pallet. the name and logo is the last thing I will be doing.

The most important thing I have to do is actually building products because at the movement this is a one-man show.
building 5 - 7 products will take 2 to 3 months so I don't worry about the name.

Name and logo can be added later(also want to keep it in stealth mode because of niche), won't have this problem later.

I am not actively looking for the name as I do have 1-2 months to think, I do it like 10 to 20 mins a day.

marketplace will be ready by Sunday, will start building products starting Monday.

I usually come up with names from domain generators, and if I'm out of luck, I look at domai auctions and premium names. I never settle for anything other than a .com. This site/page is pretty cool for generating available unregistered .com names - Domain Generator
You can also check the auctions out and filter by your keyword, you might stumble on something good which is expired/expiring.

Hi fastlaners,
I am building a Marketplace for digital products.

It must contain the word "Widget".

widgetsshop or widgetsstore (double s is not favorable), and single s is a premium domain(cost a ton).

I was Inclined to use widgetsbazaar, @RazorCut suggested this,

The word bazaar stems from North Africa and the Middle East and so most Europeans would associate it with those regions . I don’t know if you want to convey that image/region for your business? When I asked my girlfriend (American) her first thoughts about the word ‘sportsbazaar.com’ she said somewhere that sold secondhand sports goods. Again maybe not the impression you want to cultivate?

I’m with @Sebastya on the double ‘S’. And I wouldn’t spend forever overthinking the domain name and spending a bundle. Just get something short and as unique as you can. It’s not as if you can use it for ranking purposes.

Personally I’d leave out mart, shop, store etc. in your domain unless you really had no other option, as your best choices were all gone. One of my main e-commerce stores had 3 domain names pointing to it. The one almost everyone used to access it was the 4 letter acronym. And that was the one that Google ranked highest on (nailing my best product position 1 and 2 for years).

I 100% agree with it.

It's been more than a week of thinking and gotten nowhere, now I am out of ideas.

would love it If you suggest anything or help me figure it out.

I am trying from almost a week.

English is my second language, though learning from childhood not fluent enough. What I mean is context matters, onlyfans is not even known in india but very populer in US.(onlywidgets)

Since I am aiming for an international clients, preferably US, UK and Canadians.

So what better way to fix it than to ask you lovely folks.

My promotion strategy from the start is only content marketing, including videos, blogs etc. So I will have a very hard time changing the name later as content will live on forever.
