Hi,
I am from London, UK and am introducing myself after reading the Millionaire Fastlane a while back and recently Unscripted and now on the Fastlane forum.
I have worked in investment banks but depressed daily by the experience and thought of having to do this for the rest of what seems like a very very long working life.... Mostly because I have been convinced for a long time of the power of entrepreneurship so I know there is a better way to approach life but have kept myself in misery out of fear and familiarity of the known- not a good enough reason!
I have previously jumped on the Amazon bandwagon a couple of years ago with an expensive course like a money chaser even though at the back of my mind I knew this path is a road to commoditized business and a flight to the break even floor or worse in an ever more bloody market. Lesson - don't be a sheep or let money be the primary driver for decision making!
I have and will continue to correct my errors and perspective going forward and will isolate a problem or paint point to solve. Ironically this feels like less pressure than chasing money and more like it's worth it and is meaningful!! That doesn't mean money isn't important but not in isolation. I'm at the idea stage and don't want to rely on a job or having to go back to my old profession if it can be helped!!
