This is a case of treating the symptoms and not the cause. It'll only end coming back with this method..

I forgot to mention I also changed the site, db, host, and ftc passwords.

How did you delete your site? Did you delete the index and .htaccess files as well?

Most sites will get hacked and are easy to hack because most of these student programmers, cheap programmers and offshore programmers have no clue about security. You get what you pay for. People with cheap programmers are in for a world of hurt once their sites grow big. Security is not an afterthought, it should be part of the plan for the very first day.
