Actually having a routine is critical.
- Treat your day to day as if you were working a job. You're the boss of course, but don't get tempted to slack off.
- With your business being your "job" - you go to "work" every morning, at your desk, at a pretty regular time - Monday-Friday
- For me, I get up at 6:30, have a pre-workout + protein shake, then hit the gym, make breakfast and start my work around 9. I then work until around 4pm
- Your brain (and thus your health) is the most important thing for success. Take GOOD care of it. That means staying in shape, exercise, eat healthy, and stay hydrated all day.
- Don't try to be a badass and work nonstop for more than 3 hours straight. Take short breaks between, get some circulation going. Go outside for fresh air, move around, and do something NOT involving your phone and computer
- Recharge yourself on the weekends by spending time with family, hiking, relaxing, chilling. Without this, you will be more drained and slowly lose motivation throughout the week.
- You MUST have some sort of system of all your daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and goals. Use a task management system like Trello or Favro. I also like using Google Calendar for certain things where I can set aside time slots for myself where I HAVE TO complete important things.
- Also - set aside some time each week to stay informed and educated. Read a good book, read this forum, follow competitors or influencers in your market to see what is going on.
