Just found this awesome forum as it's been highly recommended. I am a therapist and I work non traditionally. I live in Australia (Victoria) and I'm not able to receive medicare yet so my clients have to pay full price ($75 an hour) instead of getting reimbursed through the state for services. It's something I'm looking into now but in the meantime I'd like to increase clients. I have about 6-7 paying clients with a few trades and I'd like to have about 40-60 paying clients. Most people don't know about my work or that someone like me is available to help them. I work thru the heart instead of thru the mind which makes a massive difference in understanding emotional intelligence and takes less sessions than say a traditional psychologist or counsellor.
I have a website, I'm reaching out thru flyers and I'm using Social Media but it's not as effective as I'd like it to be.
What are some ways that I can market myself efficiently and less expensively? I'd like to use my resources to my fullest advantage and have a client gain of about 3-5 per week.
Would love your feedback - I'm a newbie so be effective, yet gentle with me
