Simple truths (Rule the New Year all!)

I actually used this quote and picture as my desktop wallpaper on my computer beginning last New Years Day. So I looked at this quote about 365 times last year. It really did help because every time I looked at it, it made me think about doing things differently.

Last year I made some big changes, with relationships, habits, and even geographic moves. Sometimes change is as much about letting things go as it is starting new things. Some relationships had to go. Some friendships had to end so new ones can be forged. Some of my perspectives had to change so I could navigate though my current reality.

I'm still not where I want to be but I'm a little closer. This forum is a great reminder that everyone is on a 'journey' of some sort and I'm glad to be a part of it. Here's to a prosperous and productive 2017 !

Saw a guy at the mall wearing a shirt that said "train, or remain the same". It was a fitness shirt, but the message translates to anything.
