Stress.
I’ve been on the keto diet and it has helped tremendously, but I have finally figured out that my weight issues are directly related to stress.
Lost 50 lbs last year and then stalled this year. Why? Stress of the world, a toxic job, declining mental health.
In the two weeks after my firing, where I was relaxed and composed, I lost nearly 4 lbs. Two weeks following that, where I was stressed and angry, I gained 2 and then stalled.
Food plays a part, like this binge week I am having, but for me, the brain is what is really related to my weight.
