Some of the analytics don't go back far enough or I stopped updating them (I used to grow 6-8 pages at a time), but the range is 2 weeks - 6 months. 1-6 months to be conservative.
The last business I did this for was a CBD gummy bear company branding themselves as 'what you eat when you need to relax/chill'. I grew an entertainment page around that, grew it to 15k likes within a couple of months, and by that point it brought in hundreds of sales a month!
I wonder if this is something I could do for other businesses? My problem is finding the type of business that would not only benefit from this, but would also be open to it.
What do you think?
Are you already renting out a room or rooms in your house? Air BnB could be a good route to fast cash.
Also, if you google 'rent my house to the film industry' a few companies come up whereby you can register your house for free, and of course that's much more lucrative than renting. A friend of mine did it for a Beeb drama, they gave him £10k, and redecorated his house afterwards, as they needed their own look.
Anyway, that's what I'd do, try and leverage my property.
Niche of your FB page? Where are most of your users from?
You could sell ads based on reach i.e 50k reach for $50, 100k reach for $100. And you promise to keep posting their ads (over the course of 2 weeks until the paid for reach is ..... "reached", no pun intended.
------
Window cleaning - kinda slow lane, but I guess it could work. Hustle anyway you can.
Perhaps re-sell goods from platform to another. Find a good product from etsy.com and add value (improve the presentation, add a interesting story etc.) and ask 2x or 10x what you buy it for.
----
Perhaps buy a 2nd steam cleaner and specialized cleaning services for ... chippies or homes with dirty ovens or shower rooms.
---
Personally - if you're a designer, I'd go with the re-selling goods from etsy. Make some nice graphics, write nice copy and use your social media site to generate a few sales. Hit me up if you want some help with this.

It opened my mind that cash is literally everywhere. Right now I want to pursue a marketing strategy, but it's still been unproven for my business.
So I'm connecting the dots, finding strategic investors that grow when I grow, mitigating risk, creating a win-win-win situation.
There are probably TONS of opportunities like these just laying around in your community. Listen to that podcast and see if you come back with any new ideas.
Ah yes, living in a building site isn't exactly desirable. Lol.
But yes, you could well find some productions who need a blank slate, they often redecorate to suit their purposes anyway. As long as you've got leccy and water and it's not overly dangerous, you should be fine.
If you want, you can ping me your postcode over DM, I still have a few contacts in that area (I'm in London). However even so, try finding a site linked to production companies, there're a few out there.
I can do Wordpress web design, and I noticed some of the websites in my local area have sh*tty websites, many are just really slow. I could definitely make something that looks nice and loads fast. If I do offer it super affordably for like £100, and message 50 businesses, I'm probably set to pick up at least several clients a month right? That'd solve my money problem.
Alternatively I could make two quick demo front pages a day (completed if they're interested) and send super tailored emails and do it for double (cuz I'm spending more time on each prospect)? I can send 60 demos a month focusing only on businesses who have really bad/really slow websites and I can improve the most, if 10% buy, that'd be £1.2k a month which would be awesome.
Has anyone ever sold web design before? Does this sound like something that could be done?
Renting to movie industry could work though actually, obviously most people's houses are complete, so I guess if a studio wanted a house that is mid-renovation we could be exactly what they're looking for?
Increase your number of applications. Use indeed. Apply for anything and everything. Your goal rn is to have current income. My magic # was 10. GL!
Any of the service business options will be the fastest cash. With the window cleaning, it would be cash in hand. Could make some pretty good quick cash. You're only limited to how hard you wan to work. And this would also leave enough free time to work on your Fastlane project.

Hi Buddy. I hope you get a good value about my post here in the forum: https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/co...-to-the-forum-february-2020.93282/post-852413I'm in debt for the first time in my life! Granted it's only a -£200 overdraft but I only have enough money for two months more bills and food at this rate, and no further access to credit. Things need to change! In fact they're already changing, since I joined FLF and you all told me to find a job, I've been applying to 3-4 jobs a day. I've also been working more on putting things into action for my personal project (my fastlane plan), but there's no way around the need for capital.
I don't want to go broke, have no access to credit, and be totally destitute and screwed, so I HAVE to find a way to make money, any way at all. I've already been doing this, however terrible ways of making money at £2/hr or less, I need something that brings in more. At least until my house sells and I can properly throw myself at my fastlane plan. I need your help, as I don't have the time to be doing something that is going to bring cash in!
I'm not sure if I can use any of my existing skills or assets, here's some ideas I had:
-I am alright at web design. I can make a nice website, but nothing too complex. Maybe this is something I could sell to local micro/small businesses who just need something simple? I've made websites for myself and family members in the past, but I mostly just use WP and existing themes. I have unlimited web hosting for unlimited sites so I could offer that as a bonus! I could set up their social media and give them advice on making it successful, in a similar vein.
-Sell ads on my 500k+ like FB pages. Videos average 120k views. This month the average post (non-video, I don't post many videos) gets 180k reach/150k reach (two main pages), with the highest-reaching posts getting 3M/2.2M, but the lowest getting 20k/15k. I've never sold ads on these pages before, and an ad post could easily flop and get a super low reach leading to an unhappy client, so it bothers me that ads could destroy the reputation, which would be disastrous as they're essential for my fastlane business.
-Sell a low-barrier to entry service to local businesses?? I would love to hear everyone's ideas for this one especially. I thought of offering window cleaning to places with storefronts but without a car I'm not sure how achievable that is (and would people even want to pay a crazy woman walking around the streets with a bucket and cleaning stuff?! ) The advantage is that getting just two or three clients a day would take me out of the red (and even leave me money left at the end of the month)
-I could also sell a low barrier service to individuals. In my area everyone is broke but just an hour bus journey away you get to the wealthier parts of the city. I could clean their cars, or their gates, or even their house. I could These people make £6000+ a month so even just offering small jobs for £20 or so, a drop in the water for them, I could probably pick up some customers right?
-I have 10k instagram followers. About 30% of them view my post content, and 20% view my story. I haven't updated it in a year as I took a break for my mental health but they're still very supportive and waiting on me. I could take advantage of invite-a-friend programs, e.g. 'join this app and get £10!', which from past experience would translate to 5-10 completions a week. That'd be an extra £100 to £400 a month, dependent on the offers availability, their attractiveness, and payment. I'm not sure how to monetise it, but one way could be blogging. Judging by features from other publishers, I could probably attract a few thousand unique views initially. I read of someone who made $450 from affiliates their first month blogging, so I could look into that.
I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts! I'm DONE doing low price offers to make scraps that don't even cover bills so I'm preparing to totally quit doing little things for little cash and start doing putting my time into something that is based on effort and pays better than very poorly.
