Hey everybody,

I am a self-taugt software developer and new to the forum.

One of my main struggles is finding the right niche to target. Reading through previous posts, I took away that it‘s a good idea to create a product in a niche you are familiar with.

But what are some ways of finding other niche you can serve? I think that as soon as I identify one, finding an idea for a product won‘t be that hard. Basically, just improving, refreshing and bringing a new angle to what is out there already.

Does anyone here have tips? (Would like to go in the direction of building a SaaS product)

Thanks for the suggestions!

Just start helping people? You'll eventually find patterns and end up solving particular types of problems.

Keep helping people and your niche finds you (emerges).
