This is my situation: I am currently a in Germany so called "Auszubildender" which is something where you have to study a specific field while being employed in a company. I learn how to develop software which is pretty useful to me. I have a 5 days, 8 hours work week. My complete commute ( going to work and eventually going home ) is almost 3 hours. I go to the gym twice a week and I work on my website every day after work. This is all legit but I have a long distance relationship and my girlfriend misses me very much, which is why we spent almost every weekend together ( Friday evening - Sunday ). Of course this is fun and relaxing, but I don't get work done there. So I put all work in the afternoons after work /+ gym and sometimes I am up till 00:00 - 01:00 AM and have to get up in the morning at 05:30 AM. My sleep schedule is a mess and I am a bit unconcentrated. When I have nothing to do at work I try to learn and write code as much as possible and I make progress but I would love to have more. Everywhere one reads that many successful people work 12 hour days or more but to be honest I just can't figure out how to be fully concentrated and focussed then. Any suggestions would be awesome.
