so I have done Tony Horton's P90X3 with T25 in between like 8x and I am getting bored by both. They are amazing programs and I haven't felt better in my life, but listening to the same jokes over and over gets tiring after a while.
Do you know of any other equally great home-fitness programs working within the 30-60 minutes range? I don't like to get locked into the expensive gym memberships, so that's not an alternative for me.
Thanks!
Just write out the workout in an app like FitNotes and don't watch the video. No reason to if it's annoying you.
Yes I've done it many timesOh yeah, I am soooo scared of this one!!! The t25 gamma is already sooo challenging, but what the heck, right!?
Have you done it?
You aren't doing it right then...Been there, done that ... had done gym for 20 years and never felt as good as after these programs. These dudes put some good scientific effort into them. Never had back problems ever since and built a 6 pack.
Before, I had hustled in the gym for 2 hours every other day and nothing from it. Not saying I was a saint when it comes to healthy food, but I didn't eat junk, didn't drink "sugar infested" sodas, etc. and still nothing ...
Insanity is all bodyweight cardio and conditioning. No weights involved. About once a week there's a Yoga(The Worst) and Ab workout). In terms of intensity, it definitely lives up to it's name. But I did lift weights along with Insanity. So my experience probably isn't completely accurate to what you're expecting.Aight, challenge accepted Have you also done any of the others, like p90x3 and t25 to compare? I know that insanity is more cardio and core strength. p90x3 was building the basis for me (BA degree) and t25 was like a Masters. Is insanity another Masters or PhD? )
Yes, athletic and fit is my goal. Let's leave Dwayne be The Rock )What is your goal?
If your goal is to be athletic and fit, that's a great goal.
Athlean-X seems like it would be your speed, although it is tailored to a gym-setting.
Considering the programs you mentioned are primarily designed for losing weight and increasing athletic ability, I think you'd like it.
TBF, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage by refusing to reconsider the gym.
If your goal is to look big, there's some bad news for ya.
You will never look "big" as a natural, because 'we live in a society'... big like, Bodybuilding magazine big. Big like The Rock, who I'm pretty sure uses roids, or is a hell of a genetic freak. Ever seen pics of him not on roids? A real eye opener.
You can look shredded and buff, but you'll still look skinny in a T shirt. Gain a few lbs and you'll look big in the t-shirt, until you take it off. Naturals always look "bigger" at a lower BF% without a shirt on.
Disclaimer: Steroids are stupid.
If you want to train strength and gain mass as a natural, I like "Body of a Spartan".
Oh yeah, I am soooo scared of this one!!! The t25 gamma is already sooo challenging, but what the heck, right!?This will challenge your cardio and conditioning like no other. The name is pretty self-explanatory.

Thanks for the insights. Yes, I came to understand that nutrition is 80%, the workout is 20%. Conditioning/cardio sound good. They make you last longer in the entrepreneurial game as well.Insanity is all bodyweight cardio and conditioning. No weights involved. About once a week there's a Yoga(The Worst) and Ab workout). I have not done T25. So I can't say anything about that.
Once again, Insanity lives up to its name. The warmups feel like workouts in themselves. Average length is about 30-45 minutes.
Of course #1 thing to any workout program is diet/nutrition. I bet this is probably why you failed your 2 hours at the gym.
But, I'm glad you're getting results. If these Beachbody programs are getting you results then keep doing them.
At this moment I use Insanity to get more Cardio/Conditioning up.
Thanks, good point. It's still good to exercise along, though.Just write out the workout in an app like FitNotes and don't watch the video. No reason to if it's annoying you.
Thanks! The audiobooks suggestion is great.I do regular P90X with the volume down. Then I listen to music or audiobooks. Works the same. I did do the workouts just by notes. Only problem with that was when I forgot what a move was or how it was performed. An hour of workout is a good time for an hour of reading (listening).

Yeah, that's what I did in the gym and didn't work, because I didn't study it enough ... I'd rather leave it to expertsSame for me, but not two decades. Bodyweight exercise works much, much better for me. What about designing your own program, addressing your unique strengths and weaknesses?
