Hey everyone,

a couple months ago I purchased a business and the previous owner has yet failed to fulfill his duties as stated in the contract.
There is a set date by which he should have delivered all physical products and taught me the ins and outs of the business.
Furthermore there is the very real possibility that he breached the contract possibly multiple times (continuing to sell the product). This is covered by a fixed Euro amount he'd have to pay but might be difficult to prove.

The reason I didn't take legal action earlier is because I felt like he had more to teach me than he was legally required to, which he obviously wouldn't do anymore once I sued him.

I realise now that wasn't the best approach but better late than never I guess.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What steps did you take to prove how much revenue was lost? (I have his numbers from the previous years. In my oppinion they aren't directly applicable though since he spent only a few hours a month on the business)

If you live in Germany, do you know any good attorneys which specialise in breaches of contract?

Thanks a lot

ok i dont know if you ever had to do with german laws and legal proceedings before. Its not that easy, if you have a lot of money to sue him and it wont hurt you to loose that money than go that way, but if not try to speak with that guy and come to an conclusion because an attorney can not give you any guarantees to win this.

Out there are a lot of ecommerce scam sellers, did you buy an online shop with really good figures? and the price was really damn good? Maybe i can give you some tips, shoot me an pm.
