I'm looking to hopefully start contacting popular brands soon with an eye to licensing some of their properties. I'm guessing my life may be made easier by an existing directory or resource of up to date Licensor contact details?

Let's say for example I want to stick a Game of Thrones image on a golfball. Who the blazes would I contact? The author? The publisher? The tv show?

Where do I begin in general when it comes to starting a conversation about Licensing a property?

Hi @WolfNinjaUK, have you had any success contacting the IP owners? I have no idea who to contact, so I'd just start pounding away and asking. You'll eventually find the right person, just don't be afraid to ask.

There's a great thread here about getting through the gatekeepers of a company. Search for that thread and review the experiences of those who have gone before us. Great content.
