Study Holland's Country Economy specially locally
See if there is a value/need for gen pop

You gotta know yourself = Have you figured out your personality, strength, weakness, interest? Make a list

9 to 5 is not bad but make sure you reduce the cost of living and do some side hustle = Start Small

You're feeling lost because you don't have a map.

Imagine being told to jump in your car and drive to Rome. How hard and overwhelming would it seem if you didn't have a map or GPS?

Figure out what you want in life. What is your grand vision? Take a few minutes and really imagine all the details. In forty years when your grand kids ask you about the story of your life, what will you tell them?

Now ask yourself: "What could I do in the next 12 months that would get my Grand Life Vision off to a great start?"

The answer you come up with will be your yearly goal. Write it down.

When ever you write goals down make sure they follow the S.M.A.R.T. format. Its not perfect but its good enough. You goals have to be:
  • Specific.
  • Measurable.
  • Attainable.
  • Relevant.
  • Time-bound.
Now take that one year goal and break it down into 12 smaller goals, one for each month. Think of it like a set of stairs. If you want to go from the first floor of your house (where you are now) to the second floor of your house (one year goal) you must take and use the steps (the 12 monthly goals) to get there.

Each month should have a SMART goal and when all 12 monthly goals are added up, they equal your yearly goal.

It seems like a lot of work, and in some ways it is, but you are giving yourself the roadmap for the next year. Take the time to actually do this.

I take it even further and at the beginning of each month I break that month down into four weeks and give myself a weekly goal. All four weeks adds up to my monthly goal. My weekly goal is then broken down into task and those task are added to my to-do listed and sorted by priority.

Now every day that I wake up I simply look at my To-Do list and I know exactly what I have to do to be on track to reaching my yearly goal.

Give it a try.

I salute you for the advice definitely gonna try this if I remember correctly MJ said something about visualising your self from 1 year from now and that if you don't do that the path will stay hidden

Learn a valuable skill.

Sell that skill to businesses.

Start having some results. Start tasting some success.

Build up from there. You'll start seeing opportunities.

You can't go from 0 to 100 in one step.
appreciate it mate when you say valuable skill what should I think of ?

This is going to sound harsh but I mean it in the nicest way possible.

What you should learn is how to ask the right questions. Answers are only as good as the questions.

The real question is: "What do I want out of life? What do I want my health to look like? My personal realationships? My financial life?"

Once you know what you want then you can figure out how to work towards it and what you need to learn and do.

I can understand you.

I was in the same place as you are now a year ago, wondering WHERE and HOW to start.

Reading the below-mentioned threads has helped me to start.

But there is a catch.

"YOU MUST APPLY WHAT YOU READ"

Otherwise, you will be asking and posting the same questions a year later like how you did now.

A problem i had recently was that our ikea kitchen isn’t part of the current range. I wanted to replace our dishwasher with an integrated one but I struggled to source a front panel for it. Is there anything from your time at ikea which you provide a solution to?

How can your life get better? How can your family life get better? How can your community get better? How can your nation get better? How can the world get better?

Answer these questions. Now you know the world isn't perfect for you, and it is up to you to contribute to make it perfect the way you think it can be. Then work toward it and see if the market will pay you for your work.

So you mentioned working in a bike parking lot?

What's the parking situation like in NL? I remember visiting twice and it being the main form of transport in any city centre. Is there ever an issue leaving your bike somewhere?

- Low cost cycle trackers
- Bike cleaning/maintenance whilst parked
- Secure facility, create an APP where people can book in advance to leave their bike
- Busy town? Why not provide a cycle taxi with carriage?

Just some crazy ideas and a bit of a mind download but from reading TFM and posts remove the constraints you place on yourself. Sometimes things don't need to be reinvented. You have skills in customer service, inventory among the ability to speak/understand Dutch and English.

I remember when I first started online I met another guy similar to you.

His name was Patric Chan. We were chatting about Anthony Robbins I think and I asked him what he was into online. He said right now because of my English I am looking at High quality PLR products and building a list.

I did not take him very seriously at all but was a nice guy.

That guy is now a Millionaire and if you go to one of his Product Sales Copy you will still find broken English ha.

But I never forget how people evolve or devolve online.

The best routine that I ever implement is waking up everyday at 4am. You have 5h of work before to go to your 9-5. Start something with that. I always recommend email marketing as a first venture. Feel free to pm me if you need some advices along the road. Best of luck!

Hi @Madman1996!

Good of you to share what you feel.

First off, accept your situation.

Forget your age, it doesn't matter.

People have success at all ages.

Some sooner, some later.

  • Relevant.

This is a great piece of advice.

Define what you want in life.

Then work out a way how you can get it.

This doesn't mean that what you define now cannot change over the course of years.

Oh, and don't over-complicate it.

I can understand you.

I was in the same place as you are now a year ago, wondering WHERE and HOW to start.

Reading the below-mentioned threads has helped me to start.

But there is a catch.

These are great threads to start with.

And very solid advice.

Don't read too much.

Read.

Apply.

Learn.

Repeat.

Take a look at @Andy Black's and @Lex DeVille's content. This is what helped me get going a few years back.

Small exercise if you are up for it...
Deadline: end of the week

Task 1: Define what you want from life and write it down
Task 2: Write down at least 20 things/skills you can help people with (right now - no additional learning)
Task 3: Write down at least 20 people you can help with your skills tomorrow

What if there was no more reading? No more studying? What if you had to get going today?

I'd would be curious to hear what you come up with.

Hope that helps ;-)

You need to figure out what it is you want, and from there you can make a choice. The best answer as others have said is provide value to others. How you provide value is up for you to figure out based on your skills.

Go read this thread of mine since it's targeted at people who don't know what they want: NOTABLE! - A fundamental question for any entrepreneur: What do I want from my business?
How can your life get better? How can your family life get better? How can your community get better? How can your nation get better? How can the world get better?

Answer these questions. Now you know the world isn't perfect for you, and it is up to you to contribute to make it perfect the way you think it can be. Then work toward it and see if the market will pay you for your work.
Do you want to be an entrepreneur? Sales. Marketing.

Then go sell those services to companies and get a real-world education on business.
