The Supreme Court is considering a change to sales tax law. It could end up that online retailers would be required to file sales taxes for whatever state the buyer lives in. Or even every municipality. Doing away with current law that says you need a physical presence in a state in order to be required to file sales tax there.

Quite the time sink for most small business owners if this goes through.

Supreme Court closely divided on changing rules for online sales tax collection
