Hello all, It's nice to find a place with like-minded individuals as I've certainly been lacking those recently.

I'm 22 and living at home after dropping out of college with straight A's. Personally, it just didn't make sense for me to continue on with my finance degree because I genuinely hate the idea of sitting under fluorescent lights while playing on excel to fuel someone else's dream. If all goes to shit, I can return back anytime in the next 3 years (I won't).

Carry on.

Throughout the past 9 months I've spent most of my time working odd jobs and consuming as much information as I can on the side. Last week, I found Millionaire Fastlane on a reddit forum and finished it in 2 days. This may come off as aggressive, but I'm ready to F*ck the world (I'll ask for consent, of course). I've spent too long blaming my shortcomings on everyone/thing but myself.

Yes, my father died when I was young.
Yes, I dropped out of college.
Yes, I didn't get my oil changed and blew out my engine on a car that was gifted to me.
Yes, I let my emotions ruin personal relationships.
Yes, I was addicted to Adderall, weed, and alcohol throughout college.

I acknowledge my past for what it is - my past.

I am not this person anymore, nor will I ever be that person again. I refuse to let comfort grab me by the balls and drag me into his air-conditioned lair of pleasure.

The Plan

I'm embarking on a year long journey of a disciplined life and will be documenting it on my YouTube channel, which I will not be sharing on this forum. My goal is to create valuable content and inspire other young men who've gone through the experience of navigating life without a father figure. I don't know where this will take me, but it certainly will take me somewhere other than here.

I will be posting a daily vlog of myself living the Spartan Lifestyle - Day in, day out.

Do's

- Move to a warm city with $10k in my pocket
- Manual labor
- Weightlifting
- Website development/YouTube video editing

Dont's

- Porn/Masturbation
- Social Media
- Sports
- Unproductive relationships
- Drugs

I look forward to checking back in with all of you in the near future. If anything huge happens, good or bad, I'll be sure to let you know.

See you in the Fastlane,

Chad

Hi, some relatable stuff you've written over there.

It's apparent that you're quite self-aware and have a certain kind of wit about you. A plan B (or A, depending on where your journey leads you) for you could very well be copywriting or some other skill/service that's copywriting-related.

This year-long plan will surely be a period of immense growth for you. Your plans are also very likely to change a few (or a dozen) times as you gain more experience and perspective.

I started less than a year ago from nothing (and debt.. lots of debt), and while I'm not exactly wealthy yet, I spend most of my time doing whatever I feel like and doing a couple of hours of valuable work for my clients daily all while earning more than all my friends combined.

Mind you, they're not exactly the most ambitious or resourceful people I know, but hey, I'm not in debt anymore!

The struggle along the way was.. intense, to say the least. But it was well worth it. The MVP of my subjective (or objective, depending on whom you ask) success was definitely my persistence and never-give-up attitude. Expect a lot of mental challenges.

Oh, and nice name. It suits you.

There is a youtube channel named 'DAD HOW DO I? That focus on delivering a father figure advices for people who didn't grew up with a father, and it goes as casual as stuff like shaving a beard. The channel is really doing well and is growing exponentially!

I dropped that just to tell you that this niche has a big community and competition is really low, so I believe you will definitely do well, you can check the channel to get inspired.

Good luck in your endeavors and welcome aboard!
