The "Capitalism Kills" page links to a Teespring site where you can buy "Capitalism Kills" merchandise. The irony is palpable.

In my 2 minutes on Facebook every other day someone had posted a link to an article on this page.

Capitalism Kills

Obviously it's so extreme I find it funny.

I've heard Peter Thiel say something like: "Instead of strawmanning your opponent's argument you should steelman it".

Here is a quick definition of steelmanning I could find:

I don’t know if you’ve heard Ryan Holiday talk about Peter Thiel’s “Steel Man” argument.


Many times I get a more nuanced yet deeper conviction on things I believe when I listen without judgment to the opposing point of view.

The fool is just as good a teacher as the master.
