Bitcoin Coinbase users question

I'm trying to track down where some bitcoin I received in 2013 went as it appears to be worth quite a bit more now but I'm having trouble using coinbase.

Just wondering if there were any coinbase users who might be able to help me track it down I'd be down to pay you a fee for your help if you track it down.

Its tied to the device it got sent to and the wallet i believe. If you want to recover the wallet you need the really long string of words to get it back. They suggest you write it down somewhere and dont forget it.

Do you have the wallet address?

I believe Coinbase is centralised, and it is an exchange as well as a wallet, ergo you will be able to recover your password. Search your old email addresses for Coinbase mails and go from there.

Without that, I'm afraid it's gone.

Let's start from the beginning.

I assume you used Coinbase to acquire the original coins? Assuming yes, at any point after receiving them in your Coinbase account did you transfer them anywhere? Do you presently have access to your Coinbase account?
