Louis Spagnuolo made all his money the "boring way". No fancy start ups with huge exits.
  • He made $80,000/month in collage by importing mobile phone batteries
  • Very active in online lead generation
  • Flipped the domain PrivateJet.com for $30,000,000 profit
  • Has now holdings in 37+ verticals
  • Member of Tiger 21 (avg. net worth per member is $75,000,000)
Here are two interviews from him I liked:

PS:
Here is a short video with his 3 tips for success:

If you ask me, watching those two videos which are 2 hours each will be better utilized if it was working towards something. As opposed to dreaming what life is like in HIS shoes, rather than MY shoes and making things happen.

Just my two cents..

Interesting dude, those guys interviewing him annoying as hell though. nonstop "wowowowowow", "beautiful beautiful", "wowowowow"

EDIT:
Watched entire first interview and last video, here's some takeaways for me:
Happy to hear the guy say "Perseverance" is the most important thing.
That's the same conclusion i've come to lately.
The guy who wins is the one who doesn't quit.

He also mentions "recalibrating", as in failing at something, changing it up and trying again, rinse and repeat until success. What some would say "Pivoting" or whatever.
They say "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results", same principle.

Another valuable thing is when he wants establish new and strong business relationships, he doesn't "ask" for their business, he does something for them FIRST and tries to keep it original. So instead of taking prospective clients simply to dinner or golf which they've done a million times, he'll get a famous golf player to come by the golf course and spend time with them or something.

But yea cool stuff.

I'm noticing that a big problem with me and most unsuccessful people is a deficient mindset. I don't have a "ME" attitude but i still often have a "I dont have to do this for you" attitude. That's been ingrained in me for a long time. I've slowly changing my brain in the last few years but it still feels weird to try and provide value even with no obvious payoff.

I think you are right. That mindset was formed our entire life so it can be hard to change it from one day to another.

Maybe some of Louis’ recommended books can be of help.
In the first video when asked what business books are his favorite books of all time he interestingly enough didn't mention even one business book. All the books he recommended are about mental conditioning and perseverance so basically about creating the right mindset.
- Joseph Murphy’s “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” (1963)
- Catherine Ponder’s “The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity” (1962)
- Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” (1937)
- Vince Lombardi’s “Run to Daylight” (1963)
