Someone told me the other day that I could not create something I wanted created, I thought that was odd for them to say that.

They put a man on the moon, with a computer system smaller than my laptop.

But just because he can't, he believes no one can.

Sad..

If you do not think you will make it, you won't. Because you can't!

I read a great story in a local business magazine the other day with a great quote in it: Going around the world to get around the clock - Technology - Ottawa Business Journal

“The whole idea of setting up a subsidiary in India for a 20-person company was ridiculous,†Mr. Vallée says. “I didn’t know that I couldn’t do it because nobody told me that I couldn’t do it.â€

He did it anyway, and it wasn’t long before a contact in Sydney, Australia passed along a resumé after noticing a gap in the (North American) evening shift where more employees for database administration were needed.

That’s when Pythian decided to become a global company using global resources. This year, as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary, its 215 employees are spread across 21 countries and speak as many languages.

most of the things I accomplished in life was because I didn't know i couldn't do it, or that it was supposed to be hard.
I found out later tho, that lots of people said it would be hard.

whew, lucky I got it done before they told me I couldn't.

Might not have done it, if they did.

Sometimes you really can't though.

I try to take singing lessons at my college, since I always dream of becoming a pop singer. I tried it for 3 months, my voice hardly improve. My voice really just sucks. I tried though. But I given up on that goal. And it's okay. Doesn't mean I can't autotune lipsync as a porn star at the AVN awards. Which is more realistic.

But like I said, sometimes you just can't do what you want because you lack the abilities to do it. Not everyone can become a doctor, or a model, or a business person, or a millionaire. Give me a mentally retarded person and tell them to become a doctor.... ain't happening. It's not in their cards. Yellow cannot become blue, but yellow can resemble orange.

I think it's knowing your weaknesses and strengths is important. Knowing yourself. If you believe it's possible and you know it's possible then do it.

Im going to bring a box of padron 1964 aniversarios. :D

Cigars will be smoked.

m-16 with a silencer

That is a nice double tax stamp there! I bet that silencer gets really hot. Do you use a corp or a gun trust?

Agree 100%!

When I first came on this forum some of the 'old timers' told me my idea would NEVER work.

I didn't listen to them and guess what?

Yep you guessed it, it worked BETTER than I had hoped for.

That seems like a pitiful amount of time and effort spent towards following a lifelong dream.

Also, you can be a terrible singer and still be very successful in the pop scene. Hell, you don't even need to sing at your own concerts these days...

Not in 3 months they can't.

If I come I will bring a few cubans and we can compare. Yes very hott. But not as hott as when you throw a 100 round clip threw it, now that's hott. (Not with a suppressor though) Personally though I like the mp-5 much better, and it does not get as hot.

Gun trust for everything.

If you don't have a voice in the pop scene, you need the whole package.

I didn't say I given up lol

What brand of Cubans do you like? I am going to be out of the country in a little over a week and be able to pick some up. I guess just fly back label-less and all is fine. Padron 64's are hands down my favorite so far and Ive had the 1929, and a few Opus X too.

Look forward to it buddy!

Possibly one of the strangest sentences I have ever come across.

It's nice living in Canada where I can walk up to any vendor and buy Cuban's like any other commodity.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only perk to living here.

So true.
I picked up my first copywriting book when I was 12. I was told to read one of the Twilight books instead, that I was too young to understand what I was reading, that I should be 'enjoying my childhood' instead of thinking about making money.
Needless to say, read it anyway.
The rest is history.
