I was seeing a therapist to help me figure out my next move. In jest, I told him, "I don't think I'll ever fulfill my true potential." He seriously told me that I never would. And he was right. None of us can live up to what we can be.I don't know, sometimes I do get mad at myself for not reaching my truest potential. Literally nothing is stopping you from succeeding at the level of the greats except your own BS. Maybe it's hormonal, but I do believe in being hard and angry at yourself to keep you on your toes in life. In my experience, everyday, you are either being more "awake" in life or falling more "asleep".
arent you mad that you’ve gave up on your dreams?
Aren’t you mad that you’ve settled for mediocrity and threw your life away?
Aren’t you mad that you are getting outcompeted and owned because you can’t eat over your laziness?
Aren’t you mad that you look at someone in the top of your field and feel envy and jealousy but know deep inside that you could’ve been just like them if you invested your time instead of spending it?
Enough of this nice bullshit. This is YOUR life. No one else’s. If people try to sh*t on you, duck them and let your success punish them. This is yours. Don’t let ANYONE take that away from you
Just to add to this from thoughts ive been having. What would your life look like if you eliminated all BS and excises from your life and just lived life as if you were a well fueld lambo on a freshly paved euro road? Most people spend there time watching tv earing junk food hanging out with losers. That is literally like putting a cynderblock on your car. It is just adding weight to where you want to go. YOU are the vehicle and the road you take are the ventures and path you are on. YOU have the ability to make yourself into a brand spanking new ferrari with new upgrades added every year or into some shitty 1970 car with rusting paint and holes in the floor. Everytine you eat bad food, you are lowering your self worth. Your mind can rationalize it but deep, deep, in your soul, the unconscious part that lies dormant, you will harm it and it ill evemtually lead to your demise. Am i too intense? Nope. This is F*cking life. I love fun but you only get one chance on this bitch. Lets get it.arent you mad that you’ve gave up on your dreams?

Lmao I am alot calmer now but no I wasn't on any drugs. I like to go on these crazy a$$ rants after a brutal workout where I am up on testosterone but I find these talks to be motivational for myself and hope it can give a boost to others as well. It is always good to stoke that fire in the belly. No more vodka for you tonight.

I'm not mad at myself for all the years that I have lived and the decisions I have made. I have spent a lifetime of working hard and working smart. At times, I think about slowing down a bit. Then I find something else that is interesting and I run with it.
I tried retiring and I wasn't good at it. It was totally boring.
I bet if you get really quiet and listen, you will find that you aren't really mad at yourself. You just think you're supposed to be angry.
Or soju. It's good stuff. No more vodka for you tonight.
