I think this is something that a lot of people over look. You have to ask yourself a simple question and have one simple rule. Can I pay someone else to do this for me and still make a profit? If the answer is yes you can do the work yourself if you choose or have someone else do it for you. If you do the work yourself then this is truely sweat equity. If have to do the work yourself because you can not pay some one else to do it then this is not sweat equity it is just a bad deal. You own a job not an investment. Know the difference.
