Just a quick one here, I've seen a couple of people say that they have deliberately sold stock they know they don't have on Shopify, in order to test the market.
I should have some product landing in the next couple of weeks, and I'm considering doing this, just so that I can gauge how quickly the units will sell.
However I wanted to garner opinion on this. Speaking from a consumer point of view, this sort of thing annoys me, however I don't want to rule it out just because of personal feelings.
