Andy,

What you are saying really hit home with me. I used to always look to a future me. A future me that had everything that I had ever hoped and dreamed for. I became trapped by it - focusing on it when I should have been focusing on the current me who was in a state of disarray. I learned to focus on the now and truly take in who I was as a person, the support I had around me, and the simpler things in life. By doing so I was able to move forward and grow as a good person and an entrepreneur.

One of the little things for me is my time is my own . I can schedule a meeting at a coffee shop for anytime of the day . I can run errands in the afternoon and collect checks from clients . My wife and I can go hiking on Friday instead of battling the crowds on the weekends when everybody else is on the trails .

If you're ever feeling frustrated or pressured , hop in the car and take a drive . Think of all those people that are trapped indoors at cubicles, while you have the freedom to get out, get some fresh air, clear your mind and come up with the biggest idea of your lifetime. You'll find a little thing that puts a smile on your face.

Today I opened the window, and it was sunny for the first time in 6 days. I spent a good 10 minutes enjoying the moment and the feeling of the sun on my skin.

I felt absolutely refreshed, and I wish more people were out at their window enjoying it as much as I was. Instead I'm afraid most people were too busy complaining about how it rained for the past 6 days :frown:
