Any Americans Moved From Mainland To US Virgin Islands?

A while ago I read where you could move there and legally reduce your taxes by a significant percentage if you were American.

Was wondering if anyone here has actually done it and would mind sharing their experience about the process and the real life pros and cons from it.

I'd like his input, but I'd also like someone with boots on the ground too who has done it and is living it for pro's and con's too and what all went into it.

I'm not looking to move atm, but just curious.

I have not done it, but have a client that is currently going thru the process. In short you can establish a company there - real company, not just registered address - and get a 90% corporate tax credit.

He moved a part of his company that was location independent and hired a few people there. He is also in process of establishing his residency there to take advantage of the personal tax benefits.
