One thing that I don't like about Amazon is that I can't capture the email address of a buyer. It doesn't seem like that's ever going to be possible. And I guess I'm okay for now because I can build my list in other ways.

But lately I have found myself wondering if there are ways to drive people back to a product listing with remarketing.

For example, let's say that I have a product page that's converting at about 14%. That means that 86% of people who view my page are going somewhere else the first time around. I want to somehow follow those people with my listing.

Is there anyway to remarket to those people to get them back?

It would be really cool if Amazon built remarketing lists like Adwords. But until that day comes (if it ever does) then does anyone know of a way to remarket to people who see my listing the first time?

Can I increase bids in PPC campaigns to people who have viewed my posting at least once?

Is there a 3rd party app out there for this?

Can I install a tracking code in my product page and build a custom audience in FB?

Or is this just impossible right now?

It might only be a small start, but if you include your URL in your product label, you could get return visitors and with a suitable incentive they might give your their email address.

At the very least this could move some of your customers away from Amazon to your own eCommerce site.

Basically, everything you wondered about in the OP is not possible. All you have is what you put on, and in, your product packaging.

You can do pop up ads on your listing via pop traffic sites and grab any site visitors for pennies and pixel them. Mind you that only gets you people who have pop up ads on their browsers already, so it would be very few. Just an option if you really have a good idea for retargeting or something.

TIP - You can also pop up on all your competitors pages ;)

For a while, there was supposedly a way to get a facebook pixel in the html of a listing. I was never ballsy enough to try it, and not sure if that little trick works anymore.

Back in the day (when I wasn't making much), I was a lot more willing to screw around and see how much Amazon would let me get away with.

Now, I play by the rules, because Amazon pays my bills :smile2:

Thanks, I'm doing that now. My boxes and labels are all branded. So I guess that will help.

Thanks for the response. I didn't even think of pop traffic. I have been wanting to try pop traffic for awhile, so maybe I'll look into it at some point.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I'll do some research. Thanks
