Dear people,
In 2020 I opened an Amazon Germany seller's account for my business located in The Netherlands. My account got deactivated before I listed any products, because Amazon most likely thinks I have a mailbox business/ no legitimate business in The Netherlands. Amazon representative confirmed that they think this is the reason (one of their departments). I made many appeals providing all the evidence that that is not true, along with the help of a consultant that specialized in this, but to no success.
I did not open a new account and gave up completely.
Now in 2023 Amazon expanded to The Netherlands. They sent me an email to schedule a call, inviting me to open an account. I have 2 questions to prepare for this call:
1) Should I mentioned that my account got deactivated or just open a new account via their call?
2) My consultant back then told me I have delivered every evidence of my having a legitimate business in the Netherlands, but to no success. This is strange. It could be that there is a different reason for this, should I mention that or could that lessen the chance of my account getting approved?
The different reason could be that in 2019 I used Amazon Germany to dropship to Belgium EU. For example someone in Belgium orders from my business in Netherlands, then I order from Amazon Germany and send directly from Amazon Germany to customer in Belgium, but with my business details as invoice address on Amazon. I opened an Amazon business account that enabled me to dropship products from Amazon Germany without paying VAT to other countries because it was within the EU. Apparantly that was not allowed and they returned my account to a normal account. Maybe they were not allowed for tax reasons. Note that I did not have an Amazon seller's account while doing this dropshipping.
Thanks in advance!
