Hey everyone!
I just got off the phone with my dad. He's 94, and has lost most of his vision due to macular degeneration. He never calls me, I always call him. The reason is that, believe it or not, there's not a single landline phone on the market with voice-activated dialing capability.
"Hey, Siri!" is just not possible yet with a landline, and he cannot handle an iPhone. Voice activated phones are anywhere from $280-$500. The Baby Boomers are on their way toward becoming elderly; some of them are going to need accessibility products.
The options are still limited, but IoT is a thing. Get on with it before I do!
