I thought I would write a little introduction. I’m turning 18 this year, gonna graduate high school by the end of the year. I’ve recently discovered The Fastlane Millionaire and it completely blew my mind about what was possible in life. I’ve read The Millionaire Fastlane and just about to start reading Unscripted. For now, I’ve done nothing too particular am just a regular teenager trying to break free to reach financial freedom. I read that book out of curiosity which put my whole world’s belief of wealth in question (for the best). At first, I thought it was a good idea to show my close friends The Millionaire Fastlane so as not to stand alone and to have new common interest and get help. I didn’t expect that they would completely reject the book, they found logical explanations to be against it. “Thousands of people already tried it, it wouldn’t end well, it’s a waste of time...” were my responds. For now am just grateful that i've found MJ DeMarco's book and am looking forward to learn much more.

Thanks @MJ DeMarco for changing my perspective about wealth and money making.

Bahahaha ... the statement itself is so ignorant it's funny.

Of course thousands of people have tried it. Likewise, if thousands of people swung at a baseball for the first time, most of them would strike out. Is that a good reason to quit? Because you can't hit the ball after a few swings?

The expectations for business success within the Scripted peasantry is hilarious.

Welcome to the forum.

Solving Pain
Hey welcome to the forum . I was about 19 when I first started. Most of the people I hung out with 3 years ago are gone. (A few are literally dead or in jail) Others are smoking it up in the same rut and they are a bit fatter. They're indebted to their shiny objects.

On the other hand... life is lived on my terms. Most of my job is keeping my accounts happy and growing new referrals.

I have a sales job where I make my own hours and my boss begs me not to leave. It would cause many of his customers to follow me since I solve their pain. (Plus the other big producer just left for a bigger better job)

I'm not even fully fastlane since I'm building my own business on the side. I found out it exists because people have asked me to get it for them. Gaining real experience in a profitable company has massively cut my learning curve.

Focus on selling. It's about finding the prospect's irritation and offering them a push button(system) to make it go away. Build the skills through trial and error over the next few years. You definitely won't waste your time doing that.

PS: You can learn a lot from cold calling and selling things on Craigslist. Those are low-pain ways of starting today. Also, get a part time job. Use it to build your cash flow while you can live at home. F*ck what your punk friends think, they have less life experience than a fruit fly.
