2020 Fastlane Summit, Tickets Now On Sale! (SOLD OUT!)

Event Update!

So we're officially beyond last Summit's event size and now we're entering new attendance territory.

Instead of using the smaller room for the event and marking the event SOLD OUT I'm gonna press forward and keep tickets for sale for an indeterminate time so we can utilize a slightly larger room that the resort has offered, one with better visuals. (Last event the visuals were somewhat hard to see for those who had seats in the back.)

This larger room can handle up to 200, but I think 150 at a max should be the cap. If ticket sales don't reach the cap in the near future, I'll mark it sold out. (For reference the last event was about 110 ppl).

Also, watch your email for lunch options. Looking to give folks several options in choosing their lunch (I think I can have this arranged so you can pick your preferences) while another day might be a buffet.

This already is the largest Summit ever. If you still want a ticket, email the forum using the contact form at bottom of forum and let me know your circumstances. Minimally, you will be put on a waiting list if tickets shall come available, or the event size increases. I will have to verify that the room can accommodate any extras. I have never run an event of this size so I'm bit hesitant to make this event any larger!

• The main ticketing service is being hosted on EventsFrame.com. Unfortunately we've been having some issues with this service. For some folks it works just fine, others are having trouble with credit card processing. If you are paying by VISA, MC, or AMEX, please make SURE your billing address is entered correctly.
• IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED A SPEAKING PROPOSAL BUT HAVE NOT YET BEEN SELECTED/INVITED YET, PLEASE BUY A REGULAR TICKET. IF YOU ARE CHOSEN TO SPEAK AT A LATER DAY YOU WILL BE REFUNDED THE DIFFERENCE. TO DATE, NOT ALL SPEAKERS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN OR SELECTED!!!!
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable!! If you cannot make it after purchasing, there will be a ticket-swap thread for anyone who wants to offer their ticket for sale at face value to another forum member -- this must be pre-authorized by myself or event organizer.
• Room block will be offered at a maximum of $239/night (plus typical hotel taxes+fees+BS), however there's a good chance we might get a cheaper block, details will come at weeks end.
• Attendees report room doesn't need to be paid for until February.
• Ticket includes, minimally, lunch for 2 days.
• Total event size is currently capped at 95 100 110 120 130 140 150 200?

If you are getting any type of issues paying, try PayPal. I wish I could ensure that the ticketing process at EventsFrame will be bug-free, but it's been anything but, and very frustrating. Their support sucks and I've already sunk-costed myself into this platform.

It is an exciting idea, a party for 150 privately catered with liquor would be much cheaper than hotel options. The hotel would want $50K to pull that off, I could do it at my place for $3K; I have a huge yard, full basketball court (if anyone wants to play pickup BB), fire pits, fruit orchard if anyone wants to pick fruit (lol) cornhole, live band, it's actually the perfect place to pull it off...I'd have to jump thru some hoops to pull it off, from insurance to HOA permits (yes, I now have one at my new house).

Wasnt able to get the cash for the ticket in time. If theres another oppertunity to buy tickets next month I will definitely pick one up.

Y'know I got tired of being passive and just accepting what happens to me. I took a quick break at work, let go of my pride and called around my family to ask them to lend me some money...

And it worked, ask and ye shall recieve.

With outstanding speaking invites yet to be processed or invited, there's less than a dozen. I keep updating the event registration page with the exact # remaining.

I will also push the event to the forum list here soon. With the event being 40% larger and the bigger room, it's better that tickets are available for a longer duration as it has helped reaching people who might have otherwise missed it. In the past, we did a small room so tickets would sell out in hours, and then people who might have wanted to go (who just weren't at the forum that day and that hour) missed out. Going forward, I will be doing it this way in the future... bigger room, longer availability.

Not doable right now unfortunately.

I just looked it up from Dallas, Texas.

A roundtrip flight is around $250.
A room is let's say $290 a night with taxes. 2 nights = $580.
A ticket = $450.
Budget $50 a day for food and drinks = $150.

So $1,430 all in.

It's not free, but it's also not $3-4k.

I've been keeping my head low. I just started checking back into the forum a couple of weeks ago. I missed the ticket sales. Is there a waiting list?

I was able to upgrade to a larger room so now tickets remain on sale longer than 4 hours, LOL.

Yes, tickets sold out over the weekend. Turns out a lot of folks want to go but many times miss out simply because they aren't visiting the forum on the particular day the tickets go on sale.

How many people does that make who'll be attending the event then?

150+ ... it will be largest summit ever by a wide margin.

Just stay away from the ... what was it... the crab legs? We lost several people on Saturday due to some foul seafood.

As a general rule, if you find yourself in a casino/hotel in the middle of the desert, maybe don't order the fresh seafood.

I should also mention that as attendance increases and the room block fades out (by November I should know if it is an issue -- this is the item that really hamstrings my latitude) my event budget can increase... which means I might be able to hold a private after-hours party for ticket-holders at another venue, I even considered my house as a potential party spot, but that logistically is problematic, not to mention probably an insurance risk among other things. Will shall see!

I could understand if you were from the UK, but you're from TX. A drive from TX to Arizona is hours, dependent on where in TX you are. Obviously El Paso V Houston adds significant hourage but still, not sure how the $4K comes into play.

Still havn't booked my room yet. Will be doing it once I get my paycheck next week.

For those of you who haven't book a room yet because you are waiting for funds to come in, just an FYI. You don't actually pay for the room when you call. You put your credit card on hold for the room and you don't actually incur the expense until the summit! Therefore, you have between now and February to come up with the hotel room costs, hope this helps!

I almost didn't get one, as my personal life and professional life have not been going as well as I would like and didn't feel like I deserved to go. However, I've got 120 days to get my life back in gear and show up in a much better place, so now this event will keep me accountable!

As for the flight, thankfully I still had some airline miles left over. Trip needed 25,000 miles, I had 25,300 miles left! Total flight cost = $11.20 in taxes
