She plans to point out the areas where someone could do better in a helpful, constructive way that hopefully wouldn't embarrass anyone! Everyone who has a website that sells needs this!

[5] Danielle R., @Red
Topic: How to be a Fastlane Couple (When your spouse wants nothing to do with it)!

[6] Zane P., @ZCP

[7] Allen Crawley., @AllenCrawley
CEO/Founder of Barberry Coast Shave Company

[8] Mona L. @Bertram, A Senior Research Scholar from Duke University.
Topic: Getting Attention. Dropping Distraction.

Mona does research on mental states, attention, a new model of consciousness, and cross-cultural ideas about well-being. Her discoveries are useful and kinda wildly unexpected. This work has provided her with the ability to deliver a really purposeful presentation for forum members. Join us for a helpful, accurate talk on time management and distraction and their effects on the domains of work, relationships, and oneself. She will cover the basics without the hackneyed, disempowering myths about technological triggers, addiction, habits, and ADD/ADHD. The focus is to learn the tools to make changes and live your life, not the life that is the sorry outcome of distraction. In addiction to undermining one's career and business, distraction causes friendships to run dry and marriages to become miserable and conflictive. It also results in poor health and a shortened life. She will also touch on research on the six attentional states, and those which one uses in order to think creatively.

[ 9 ] Jennifer W - @Mutant
Networking & Playing the Game - How I Got Top Industry Attention as a First Time Scriptwriter.
From never having written a script, to a room full of leading television producers all there specifically to hear her table read - Jennifer will take you through a blow by blow account of how she convinced everyone she & her co-writer needed to be on their radar. This will include conversation & email specifics, as well as transferable ideas you can apply to any sphere disinterested by default.

A must listen if you need to contact influencers, gatekeepers, and others who might stand in your way for progress!

[ 10 ] Christopher C., CPA
, @CareCPA
Topic: How to keep clean books so you can maximize the EXIT for your business at top dollar, with easy due diligence for your potential buyers. Methods for keeping clean books, taxation issues, eCommerce accounting, etc. Good books? Get a good exit, and fast!

[ 11 ] Tim Puffer, @tpuffer
Topic: Does self-storage real estate need to be a part of your Fastlane?
Or your passive income portfolio?

Listen to a self-storage pro (with hundreds of units) who will share his expertise in this big cash-flowing business, one that doesn't require you to be on the clock 24/7. How he found his first property (you won't believe how) and more...

[ 12 ] A. Powell, @amp0193
Topic: "Finding Personal Fulfillment in Life and Business"

The presentation will be in a narrative form and cover my journey over 8 years from:
  • Disillusioned music teacher with no clear purpose anymore
  • My many failed business attempts (chasing money)
  • Building an eCommerce business to an exit in 2.5 years... and finding that success leaving me feeling hollow and empty inside.
  • Starting and growing my current business, which aligns my purpose with providing value to the world... and how, despite the much longer and rockier road, it's fulfilling at a deep level.
    Beyond...
  • My vision for the future, and how I hope to use this business to impact society over the next decade and beyond.

This talk is perfect for those who are just getting started in business, and not yet thinking "long term" or "big picture", for those who have had success and are wondering if there's something more than 4 hour work weeks and "passive income", and for those who want to leave a mark on the world.

A certified barber himself and a former nurse. Ryford has taken advantage of the "Do it Yourself"(DIY) movement in the Urban Marketplace. Understanding that the Urban consumer visits a barbershop 3x as much as anyone else while marketing his product line to promote the tools to build the confidence to cut your own hair has allowed Self Cut System to stand alone as the #1 education platform for cutting and styling online. His products have also been featured on QVC, and Good Morning America and are set to hit Military and Walmart stores in 2020!

Ryford is excited to share his story of how he turned his personal frustrations into millions. You will learn the initial steps to inventing a winning product; as well as how to market your product successfully to the masses. You will learn first hand how to operate with the confidence of a fortune five hundred company with a shoestring budget!

More info:

(Sidenote: Ryford got on my radar via Instagram as he messaged me to update me on his growing company, and to give thanks to me for writing The Millionaire Fastlane, turns out he joined here several years ago!)

Roc has successfully launched (and then grew) his mini-empire while working a normal job and is well on his way to a Fastlane Unscripted lifestyle, all under 30 years old.

Honestly this could be an awesome thing. Take somewhat High-Quality footage, put the footage on YouTube and let people share it. Some of those videos could make the Fastlane philosophy go viral.

The Fastlane Summit is sooooooo scaleable.

As long as the speakers agree they would be cool with that. But even if some speakers wanted to opt-out they wouldn't have to be part of it.
I respectfully disagree because those that make the sacrifice of time, money and effort to travel across the country are the types I want to be speaking to.

I have been to B&Ps before. I hosted an event for forum members as well. It isn't grab a$$... Most people leave not only energized to deploy some new tools, but also with great friendships. It is worthwhile well beyond the presentations.

Entrepreneurs are not rewarded without sacrifice. The same should be true for an event like this one... Especially since the sacrifice is minimal relative to the known benefits of attending.

Let me talk about my consumer products company... I didn't have one before the first B&P I attended. Within 3 months I had a second profitable company because I met @Vigilante. There is NO OTHER REASON I would have started that company.

It wasn't some amazing success story, but it did provide me with a half a million dollars worth of actual income over the years and it also introduced me to my great friend that would ultimately buy the company. So yes. My ROI on the probably $1500 I spent on the whole trip was a half a million dollars and counting.

In psychology terms... Wait 5 minutes and you can have more cookies.

One thing leads to another. Be there or have regrets.

Man, I am stoked to see old friends and meet some new ones!
I'm really thinking of adding a day or two to my itinerary just to hang out with some of you.

I mean, how many times do we all get to hang out with a bunch of fastlaners and aspiring fastlaners???

The VALUE we surround ourselves with, multiplies the VALUE we can ultimately bring forth to our world.

How many chances do we all get in any given year to be surrounded by other value creators???

Hello-o-o-o????

If you are or plan on being a value creator, you need to be at this Summit!

On stage and in front of everyone.....
Lemme reply seriously cuz that brother/sister thing we do where you kick me out of the nest and then I pick on you as I start flapping furiously and possibly falling to my death might not be coming across as humorously as I intend it to in a public thread.

I’m paying - what to me - is a huge amount of money and rearranging my life -and the lives of my two kids- to go to this so I can invest in the friendships I have already made w/ ppl I value. I look forward to forming friendships with some of the leaders whom I don’t know.
Hell, just to say thank you to MJ for what he’s done is worth the price of the ticket.

I’m excited to learn. I know I joke on here.. but that’s cuz I feel comfortable here. That’s a testament to just how awesome and supportive this community is. It’s not public humiliation to get up on stage and answer questions if you’re surrounded by friends.

Also, I want to learn from ALL the brilliant minds. If every speaker was like, “I’m gonna give laser focus to three people up on stage, I wonder who?” You bet your a$$ I’d be volunteering to go up on stage ten times.

It’s baffling to me that nobody else has volunteered for the lil lesson you’re giving. At the very least I get to hang out with you and hear your thoughts from a good seat. At the most? I get real help and ideas and life-changing advice. (Preferably without crying..lol)

This whole thing is gonna be great. I trust you guys.

Hell yes! Great list.

Some amazing topics that have my attention!!

For anyone doubting: I promise you this will be a catalyst in exponentially changing your life and the way you operate.
As well as creating friendships forever.

Till today, I still speak about @Vigilante's speech, but even more how welcome he made me feel (and with me many others), how amazing @Red is and was and became the catalyst to life changing, and and and...
(p.s. why aren't you speaking Vigilante, I might have missed this being discussed due to being offline for long).
(shoot, I'll end up tagging everyone. But you get the idea).

The atmosphere is UP UP UP UP, smashing mental containers, and UP UP UP.

See you at the Summit

Y’all need to understand that most people attend for the life-changing recalibration. My emergency business contacts have almost all come from the meet ups. The speeches are valuable but the connections are invaluable.

Steven VanCauwenbergh
, Entrepreneur, Real-Estate Investor, Podcaster, Multi-Millionaire @Boom
Topic: Scaling Your Business Venture, From Zero to Thousands, Or Thousands to Millions

About Steven: A 46-year-old entrepreneur, Steve is already YEARS into his financial freedom through building several businesses in the service-based industries of accounting (2019), music business (1992 - 2015), bridal (2000 - 2011) and real estate investing (1999-Present).

His unique story is a veritable rags to riches. Raised by his single mother in a one-bedroom apartment in New Jersey, he grew up with one simple dream: He just wanted to live in a house, not an apartment! A friend handed him a book to read and he sold everything he owned and started buying properties from 1999, he purchased more than 240 rental units starting from nothing.

IN 2011 he read Millionaire Fastlane and it changed his for the second time! One major principle that made him a multimillionaire was to exit low-barrier entry businesses where he immediately sold a bridal business. (www.okbride.com).

FASTER FORWARD to 2019, Unscripted humbled and grounded him to ‘what’s the purpose of driving so hard’ & ‘celebrate, life is passing’. Now he pushes himself to outsource greatly and enjoy a lifestyle he only dreams of. He now have been repositioning himself to buy bigger assets (barrier of entry) like commercial office buildings and retail strip centers. In 2019 has been his year of ‘Why Not’ so he's ventured into a sector he found as his weakness: accounting. As such, he bought 50% of an accounting firm he's used in the past seven years, having the unique position of being the first in the booming industry of cannabis.

@ZCP, this encouragement toward @Primeperiwinkle is why I want to go to the conference: genuine concern for the success of other people. Each speaker is so generously giving: with their time, with the preparation, and with the sharing of their knowledge. I want and need to network with people like that. Networking is why I joined the forum online, so I wouldn't miss the opportunity to meet all of you like-minded people in person. I. Can't. Wait.
This is what @Vigilante is trying to say to @ChrisV ........ if we record these, it might give someone the excuse to stay home. They may miss a chance to change someone's life. The presentations are just the garnish on the plate. Come early, stay late. Spend the whole time trying to help others however you can.

Then as @Vigilante was saying .... on the flight home or when you first get back, go back through your notes. Reflect. Rewrite them. Block some thinking time. Sit back with your feet on your desk. Ask yourself what did I hear, see, feel? Then make an overall guide, then an action plan, then a list of people to directly contact and start to REGULARLY contact and help. Form mastermind groups. THAT is what this community and this Summit are all about.

Maybe we don't even need speakers.

We can just get @biophase to lead us in an ayahuasca session and then we'll learn everything we need to know.

Washed down with a nice smooth glass of bourbon, eh? Or was that whiskey?
It was Jim Beam!

I also remember something about Walmart's response protocol to email interactions. 24 hours or less.

I also remember walking to lunch with @million$$$smile and @Vigilante. Vig said something like "it is only a grand or two to try this business out."

A janitor for the hotel or some random guest turned and said "hey man, $1000 is a lot of money." Without missing a beat, Vig replied "you should raise your expectations." Love that!

So, maybe a silly question but we are allowed to take notes, correct?

I have been to some conferences where they forbid note taking and/or phones.
One of the best ways to decompress after the conference is to go backwards through your notes and review them and maybe rewrite them. There will probably be some people live tweeting a couple of the key points from the speeches. The first year I was there I took almost a notebooks worth of notes.

Most of the speakers if not all would disagree. The things I have shared at these meet ups are not intended for public consumption. My comments are intended for a private group of interested and qualified attendees.

I may go, I'm not sure yet.
I hope you attend. Given your rough start around here, you turned out to be quite a fascinating character who has contributed much to the forum. It didn't start this way, but now I have come to enjoy a lot of your posts, which always includes the links to various sources, studies, etc. :fistbump:

So many people treading through these waters absolutely avoid reading any content by a woman because of the way they were socially raised. It mostly comes off as self-protection. Respect and good luck, bros.
Huh, that's funny. I've been openly a woman on the forum this whole time and that has never happened to me. Could this be a limiting belief on your part?

For what it's worth, I assumed you were a guy. However, I doubt you would have been treated disrespectfully here (or had your posts selectively shunned) if people thought you were a female.

Of course there are other benefits of going, especially in the networking arena. There's nothing like face-to-face networking, and going to a live event is obviously going to be more immersive than watching the footage.

To draw a parrellel it's like going to a concert vs watching the footage on DVD. Of course going will be a more powerful experience, but I don't think there's any harm in having the information reach a wider audience.

I just think it would be a shame to let all those good talks not be scaled. Information is one of the easiest products to scale.

I may go, I'm not sure yet. There is a reason I may not be able to make it, but I'm trying to work that out now. We shall see. But even if I do make it I think footage could really help the Fastlane philosophy grow. Think about how many views those TED talks get.
People who speak are often sharing things they don’t want to make widely public and always available on the internet.

If one of my talks from a few years ago got leaked I would have been fired, or given my company’s competitors an edge as they would have known how we think about hiring which was a competitive advantage.

But I shared this to help the other people who threw down and came out to be part of our tribe.

Rather than presenting to the world, I was just presenting to a few friends I trusted wouldn’t rip me off.

Respectfully, asking for footage is inappropriate imo. This isn’t a conference like others you’ve been to.
