    They're a terrible company. I suggest you move away from Godaddy, they're overpriced and their hosting is bad. For domains use Namecheap or Namsilo. For hosting check out Digital ocean droplets, Vultr, or Cloudways (easiest). Namecheap is alright for shared hosting too.

    Nobody is right 100% of the time. Dave also thinks BTC and crypto is B.S. and that there is absolutely no situation in which using a credit card is acceptable. Most of us disagree with those points. In general his advice is doing far more good than harm. That's why he is where he is today.

    Without the domain you pretty much lost everything. It's not as simple as getting those webmasters to change their links and expect your traffic to be back. Try to buy back the domain from the current owner. If you weren't getting much traffic to begin with, then i guess it doesn't matter.
