How long is 4 hours of sleep sustainable?

    HEALTH
I think everyone is slightly different. I know people that only sleep 3-4 hours a day, and have for years. Others, myself included... Can do that for a couple of days, but it makes things worse. My ideal is between 6-7, those are the best days I have in business and in life.

I've Read The Great Rat-Race Escape!

    GOLD! HOT!
I've read the Great Rat Race Escape! Excellent follow-up to Unscripted. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the fictional part of it but I loved it. So many times I found myself nodding my head, having experienced similar things when I was married.

Doing the Andy Frisella "75 Hard" Challenge

    HOT! MINDSET
I'm 100% in on this, and I really need to do this right now. While I've never heard of this before I've actually done this program already (minus the daily progress pics) and it seriously works. I was the healthiest, successful and most disciplined in my entire life during this time. Ready to...

Lifetime passive income: The Paycheck Pot In Action

    GOLD! HOT! INVESTING
Thanks for posting this. The money system is by far my favorite (and most read) sections of TMF and Unscripted. I appreciate you posting the specific process step by step above. Super motivating, at least to me.

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car

    INVESTING HOT!
I've been leasing for the last several cars but when this one is over I'm going to buy something. I'm sick of payments, and quite frankly worrying about it getting dinged or scratched. I had a really fun Volkswagen Jetta GLI that is by far my favorite car I've ever had, but it didn't add any...

I've been reading on my Kindle app more lately. I'm in on this for the price. Thanks for sharing.

    I bought another laundromat

    HOT!
Good luck on the project. This caught my attention because I use laundromats and find the whole process frustrating. My apartment has a single machine in the basement for 8 units. Most of the time it's adequate for my needs. Sometimes I let the loads pile up and need to do them all at once, or...

Product/Company name - Help us decide!

I like the idea of the product but I'm not sure on most of the names in the poll. They don't see appropriate to the actual product, but the products you use them for. Clinq would be the best option of those listed in my opinion as a consumer.

Another scourge of the slowlane: open offices

    SLOWLANE RANT
I've been in an open office environment for many years now. I'm generally not a fan because of all the interruptions and distractions around me, but I believe these problems to be more of a culture issue. I'm the general manager of a marketing company and while I teach and encourage process and...

    Cigar Afficionados in the House?

    OFF-TOPIC
Since my last post in this thread I've probably tried 45 different cigars and am really starting to learn what I like. My go to favorite is the H. Upmman Robusto by AJ Fernandez. They fairly strong and spicy. i just bought box of 20 for my humidor locker at my club. I spent the the summer...

What is your guilty pleasure TV show?

    OFF-TOPIC
I don't watch much TV since I don't have cable anymore. I would say NFL Football is a staple. I watch whenever I can (while working of course) I also tend to turn on Star Trek reruns on Netflix, or old Pro Wrestling late at night when I'm just done with working. I've been know to get lost in...

    Cigar Afficionados in the House?

    OFF-TOPIC
I went to a blind cigar event tonight at a nearby lounge. Enjoyed what I would later learn was a La Imperiosa by Crowned Heads. I also tried an Asylum 13 which was nice, and earlier this week tried a Four Kicks Maduro. Loving this new hobby. Meeting a lot of interesting people too.

    Which phones do you own?

    OFF-TOPIC
Echos from my consumerism past I have an iPhone 8 on a device payment, planning to keep it for as long it will last once it's paid off. Done with the upgrade/payment trap.

    Cigar Afficionados in the House?

    OFF-TOPIC
I am not by any means an aficionado, but I am a newbie and loving cigars! My favorites so far are Regius Robusto, Oliva, and A. Fuente Robusto. I've had a few others such as Ashton and Undercrown, Avo and Rocky Patel that were enjoyable as well. This is all pretty new to me, but I've found...

The New Web Design Sub Forum (Intro Post)

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
This is great to see. I've made money building websites for many years, but didn't get serious about turning it into an actual business until recently. I'm learning a lot from @Fox and others here at the Fastlane Forum, excited to see this new section.

Should I Drop Out of High School?

    HOT!
I was one of those kids that hated school. I hated getting up early, I hated rushing around to get to classes by a certain time, didn't care for most of the other students and only enjoyed about half of the learning that was taking place. Around my Junior year I struggled to even make it in to...

Is Tony Robbins book MONEY Master the Game worth the read?

    HOT!
Hi, I've read Money: Master the game and honestly didn't get much out of it that I didn't already know. TMF, and Unscripted are BY FAR more useful, actionable and even more entertaining. I do like some of Tony Robbin's stuff though, and will say his newer book Unshakable is better, and is a...

    #DeleteFacebook

    SOCIAL MEDIA OFF-TOPIC
I actually deactivated my FB, Twitter, and IG at the beginning of this year. It felt good, but honestly didn't change much for me. I think I'm just so desensitized to social media that it didn't matter that much.
