    Are 5% yearly bonds/investments possible?

    INVESTING
If you want active investing, forex can produce returns >4% per month. (yes, monthly). The "downside" is that you have to learn technical analysis.

Folks, it's 2000 (or 2008) all over again.

    INVESTING HOT!
Correct! So in the end the money is not wiped out from the market. You lost with investing which is not zero sum, but in the same market environment you can win in every situation

It would have been transferred probably not to one person, because that would mean he traded a really big order size. It would have been transferred to several other traders who were short. Could be 100 or 1000. Again, it's a zero sum game.

Why is not true? It changes hands. Big investors watch their returns go a little bit down while traders watch their accounts go a little bit up. Zero sum. Some people lose, some people win. It's not wiped.

The money goes to other traders. You can make money when the market goes up or down. If you open a sell order at for example $40, and goes down to $38 and close the order, you've made a profit from that fall of a certain stock. I'm not saying that a person makes $10M out of one operation, but...

    Hello from Spain!

    INTRO
Thanks! I currently focus on web and backend development, specially with Python. Still, I'll save freelance programming as a possible option, but for that I'll have to leave my job and I rather not do that yet. Need the money for investing!

I'm not quite sure, most say that it will speed up a global crisis. "It's due time". 2000, 2008, 2016. Eight year cycle. Right now, pound is devaluating and yen gaining power as a "safe haven". USD is gaining power too. Stocks in europe are sinking, banks are at ~-20%. S&P500 technically is...

    Tired all the damn time

    HEALTH
I'm watching the thread. I'm very interesting in this too. I'm the same age as OP and I feel very tired all day. But in my case I think I know what it is: lack of sleep, I sleep around five hours per day. I tried to sleep more, but I barely have free time, so if I sleep, I don't do all the stuff.
